Why we’re organizing
UVA students should have a say in the future of AI.
At UVA, we're creating a place for students – and others across Charlottesville – to help shape the decisions that will affect our future.
HIC-UVA exists to turn that concern into organized, constructive action. We're bringing students together to host events and advocate for commonsense safeguards for AI.
HIC-UVA is part of HIC Youth – Humans in Control’s national network for young organizers – and is its first campus chapter. HIC Youth is recruiting students to launch and lead new chapters at universities across the country.
