Organize where you live
Find an existing HIC chapter or start one where you live, study, or work.
What chapters do
Bring the movement home.
Chapters are neighbors, students, parents, and workers organizing the place they actually live. AI companies have lobbyists in every capitol. We have each other – and there are more of us.
Show up locally.
Tabling at farmers markets, campus events, and town fairs – real conversations with neighbors about AI and who’s making the rules.
Host screenings and meetups.
A living room, a library room, a lecture hall. We send the film, the discussion guide, and the checklist.
Push local officials.
Town halls, school boards, and state reps hear from chapters first. Signatures get counted when constituents deliver them.
Chapter programs
Young people belong in this movement.
HIC Youth helps young people organize for commonsense AI safeguards on campuses, in schools, workplaces, and communities.
We provide funding, practical tools, and a community of young leaders building power where they are.

You don’t need a team or a perfect plan. We’ll help with training, ready-to-use materials, and getting your first meeting off the ground.

A real person to call
This is an expression of interest, not a commitment. We’ll follow up for a first conversation.
